Haringey Box Cup 2009
Wednesday, 15-04-2009

Haringey's second Box Cup promises to be a massive event. With nearly 200 entries so far and just over 3 weeks until the closing date, anyone thinking of entering should get them in sooner rather than later as there are only 250 places available and those travelling from abroad will be given priority, also those weighing outside the 64 to 75kg weight groups.

Anyone who attended last years Box Cup would agree that it was a hugely successful and well run event. The only problem was the lack of friends, families and fans in the audience. If you are entering or are a fan of amateur boxing please tell anyone who might be interested about the tournament... they will not be dissapointed.

Please find details of the event below:

The entries will be done on a first come first serve basis. Last year Haringey had 169 entries and 117 bouts. This year theyare expecting a lot more. Norway will be bringing a team of 20-25 boxers, Ghana a team of 8, 2 regional teams from Ireland, 12 from Switzerland. a large team from the Army & a national team from Denmark so don’t miss out on this fantastic event at this prestigious & fabulous venue. Particularly if you have boxers between 64, 67, 71 & 75, these weights should reach their full quota of 16 so get your entries in early. There are only 250 places available.
